What the app collects

Nothing. Cogbench does not collect, record, or transmit any personal information or usage information. The developer never receives any data from the app.

What is stored on your device

The app keeps your own settings and work locally, using the standard on-device preferences storage (UserDefaults):

• Your last Mesh Lab values, such as module, tooth counts and pressure angle.
• Your Gear Chain setup and Ratio Finder range.
• Your saved Logbook builds and their names.
• Preferences such as units (mm or inch) and the default pressure angle.

This information never leaves the device. It is removed when you delete the app, and you can clear parts of it at any time from Preferences using Clear logbook, Reset gear chain and Restore mesh defaults.

Network and permissions

Cogbench makes no network requests. It asks for no permissions: no camera, photo library, location, contacts or microphone.

Sharing a card

The Share card button draws an image of your build inside the app and opens the standard iOS share sheet. You choose where the image goes. The app itself sends it nowhere.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes how it handles data, this page will be updated and the date above will change.
